it is my love of texture that attracts me to quilting.   on the large canvas i create as i go. instead of quilting patchworks - assembled pieces of cloth - i create a “patchwork” of quilting designs.   balancing straight lines and curves, arranging the intensity of motifs across the quilt all the while aspiring for a harmonious whole, is a skill i am still cultivating.
