free-motion allows for improvisation. it feels giddy and gripping at the same time. the tension between these two sensations finds release in the stitch. i consciously opted out of the computer-generated stitcher because i value the organic nature of integrating imperfections in design. they are a testimony to our vulnerability and humanity.
